Salvation

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9 NLT).

To begin or renew your relationship with God, you can pray a prayer like this one:

God, you know me completely. You love me unconditionally. So I bring all of me to you—to the cross. I bring my sin, my selfishness, my pain, and my past, and I place my faith in Jesus; what he did for me—his victory over death.

Because of Jesus, I ask you to forgive my sin. I ask you to save me. I ask you to change me. And I ask you to lead me. Jesus, be the Lord of my life.

I’m done living for me. I choose to follow you all the days of my life. Be my God from this day forward. In Your name, amen.

“Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full
experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness” (1 Peter 2:2–3 NLT).
